Allen Parr
Allen G. Parr Jr. was born on November 15, 1975 and is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. In 1998 Reverend Parr completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in Electrical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. However, after working two years in the corporate world, he felt the Lord strongly leading him to forsake his career and pursue his calling into full-time ministry. In May 2004, he completed his Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating with honors, with an emphasis on Pastoral Leadership.
Reverend Parr is a licensed and ordained minister and has been preaching the gospel for approximately 15 years. He has been a keynote speaker for conferences and revivals. He also served as a Bible instructor for 5 years at the Bible Institute at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship under Dr. Anthony T. Evans. Allen has a heart for helping people connect God’s word to their daily lives and experience the joy of studying God’s word for themselves. For this reason he started an online Bible teaching ministry which includes bible teaching videos, eBooks, blogs and audio sermons. They can be found on his ministry website
In addition to speaking, he also has a passion to help people experience the life changing presence of God through worship. He has served as a worship leader for over 10 years. Allen is happily married to his beautiful amazing wife Jennifer. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, chess, basketball, racquetball and playing the piano.
